The government of India got the inkling about Pakistan's plan. Observing the statements given by Trump on Kashmir and US-Taliban talks in Qatar to end up the decade-old conflict in Afghanistan, India in consultation with National Security Advisor - Ajit Doval on August 5,2019 presented the Jammu and Kashmir Re-Organization Bill.
